Deplorable customer support for defective product, April 3, 2008 By Adam Clack (Denver, CO) - See all my reviews Product broke during utterly normal use - it just shut down and stopped working on a flat, dry sidewalk three weeks into ownership. Emails and phone calls to the company to set up warranty service have gone unanswered. No phone listed on their website; found their number through some legwork, but only a machine answers, never a real person. For all I know this company doesn't even exist. BEWARE. Roth Motors or whatever should be avoided...don't make the same mistake I did. Inexcusable. Zero stars.

Purchased for trade show setups... 5th year of service!, December 29, 2010 By This review is from: Go Motorboard 2000X Transporter Electric Scooter (Misc.) To be fair, I purchased my Go Motorboard from an autoparts store in Long Beach, CA, about 5 years ago, for approximately $200 new. At that time, Kragen Autoparts was selling a variety of these electric scooters. But when the salesperson commented on the "Aerospace Battery System", and the fact that it only weight 20lbs., but could carry 220lbs. up to 15mph for a long distance. I was impressed enough to buy it. I still use it, ocassionally, and never have had any problems.
I've noted that within most of the reviews on Amazon, some of the complaints seem to relate to the vendor, not the board. Although, product issues for those who purchased in 2008 tell me that the product may now be manufactured overseas. When I bought mine in 2005, I remember calling Camarillo, CA to chat with the manufacturer... or at least the principals of the company. I'm guessing the design was sent overseas, and different components are being used? So given all that, here's my input.
