Absolutely Awesome, January 18, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Super Turbo 1000-Lithium Electric Scooter (Black) (Misc.) I recently purchased 1 of these along with 3 Super Turbo 800's. I could go on and on about how much fun my family and I have had on these things!
I have been very impressed with how well they are constructed. The materials are very rugged and can take a beating, which was very high on my wish list. I have to say I was surprised at how fast these things go! I am 200+ lbs and it carries me with no problem at all. The battery life is also very good. We set out one day on a 8-10 mile ride and my battery indicator was still on 'Full' at the end.
Assembly isn't too bad, the allen wrenches are provided for attaching the headlight, handle bars and mounting the seat. Like I mentioned before, I bought 4 and I probably had all completely ready in less than an hour (Probably 20 mins on the first one, and 10 on the other 3 once I got the hang of it :) ).
I have been burned in the past with poor quality on other scooter purchases, but this is one where I truly feel... Read more

This unit improves upon the winning formula for the Super-800 which Chris also sells. The 1000 has greater acceleration, tweaks/improvements to the frame, and a much lighter weight profile. So in most respects the 1000 is an 800 plus some improvements, which will make it a long term success I am sure.
One thing I would like to point out about the charger for the super 1000... if you don't make a 100% clean connection between the scooter and the plug, the indicator light on the charger will still light up even though the battery is not actually charging. This has led to a couple trips where I accidentally ran out of power early and led me to (wrongly) blame the battery. So make sure you're making a snug, firm connection with the charger.
Compared to other scooters on Amazon, the support I received post sale is second to none and should not be underestimated. When I discovered that I had received the wrong sprocket on my scooter, I sent in a support email and... Read more
