The Riot is chinese made, like all the go-peds, and the parts seem very cheap in comparison to my Honda Ruckus, which has given me years of trouble free fun. It's kind of a pain to mix the gas on this, too, since it's a 2-stroke with no oil injection system. $1600 seems like a high price for what you get. I would recommend spending a little more on the 4-stroke Ruckus, although it's not nearly as portable.
