Super Turbo 1000 is aptly named for this scooter, July 28, 2011 By This review is from: Super Turbo 1000-Lithium Electric Scooter "BLUE" (Misc.) The most impressive thing you'll notice about this scooter is its speed. You can definitely get this scooter cranked up fast when not in econo-mode (but it drains the battery much faster). With its variable speed throttle and econo-mode (to save on power), you can choose to cruise along at a comfortable speed or turn econo-mode off and push full throttle to really zip the 1000 along. When Chris (at Super Cycles and Scooters) says this scooter can can go up to 30 mph, he's not kidding. In fact, it may actually may be able to go faster than that at times. So, if you plan to let your children use this scooter, I would definitely recommend supervision considering its speed and power. It can also start up very fast from a standstill, so you'll want to throttle this scooter up very gently. In fact, you might want to get the scooter rolling with a few kicks, jump on and then kick in the throttle.

First off....This scooter is awesome!!! Worth every penny. I've never owned an electric scooter before, so I wasn't familiar with the options that were available. All the reviews I found said this was the scooter to get. I completely agree.
This thing moves down the road with no problem. My favorite thing is it's torque at low speeds. I ride on the sidewalks and streets in my neighborhood and there is a lot of rolling terrain. It has no problem going up and down it. I live about 1 mile from work and this is perfect. Since it's electric, I roll it in my office building and park it in an empty cube. It also folds up and packs away in my trunk (Hyundai Elantra).
The shocks do a good job of making a smooth ride. I weight 220 lbs and it feels like it supports my weight no problem. I can also ride this thing over speed bumps without bottoming out. The seat is sturdy and very comfortable.

Above all, this thing is fast. I've purchased two Super Turbo 800s from the same company, and the Lithium 1000 blazes right past them. (And that's with a sprocket and chain that's intended for higher torque and lower speed. I don't know exactly how fast I was going, but at 180 lb. I was able to keep up with cars on 25 mph speed limit residential streets with at least a couple of mph to spare. On downhill runs, the scooter is almost scary fast.
I won't expound upon all of the features that other reviewers have already mentioned, but I did want to say how impressed I am with the scooter's suspension. On a 75 lb. scooter that's just a few inches above the ground and going 30 mph, it takes bumps surprisingly well. I have a bad back (as in, I've had back surgery bad back) and I got off the thing after riding 12 miles (on a single charge) without any stiffness or aches. The seat is also surprisingly comfortable.
